Today Colleen Patrick-Goudreau has graciously offered up a second copy of The Thirty Day Vegan Challenge! Says The Chicago Examiner, "[Patrick-Goudreau] excels in demystifying something that feels unobtainable to many people--vegan living--and...distills it into practical steps and information without dumbing it down. Colleen is like your best friend: supporting you but also encouraging you to live up to your potential....I recommend [this book] for anyone who has struggled with trying to go vegan in the past, or would like to try it for the first time. For those of us who are tried-and-true vegans, I also recommend the book for its...common sense approach to...compassionate living. Plus, recipes! Get this book as a gift for yourself, your friends, and family." I have seen this book, and I think it's beautiful, like all of her books. I wish I could be the winner!
To enter the giveaway, leave a comment below. Tell me a challenge you struggled with, or when you went vegan, or anything at all. This giveaway is open to everybody everywhere, whether you are in Seoul, San Diego, or Sydney! The winner will be chosen by a random number generator and posted tomorrow below tomorrow's giveaway. If you win a giveaway on this blog at some point this month, please be kind and don't enter further giveaways--I'd love as many people to win something as possible!

I went vegan just over 5 years ago. I drifted into it over 2 years so when I finally decided there was no going back I'd got everything covered so didn't miss anything too much!
ReplyDeletei thought going vegetarian 6 years ago would be a real challenge. turns out, it wasn't at all.
ReplyDeleteA challenge I struggled with when first going vegan was learning more about which ingredients might be unexpectedly animal-derived so I could make sure to avoid them. Thanks for having such a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI went vegan in the spring of 2001 and the real struggle for me was baked goods! Taught me how to cook :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this book for my mom, who is dabbling in the veganism and could really use the push!
I've been vegan for about a year. I still struggle a bit with dairy and baked goods, especially when they're sitting out at work!
ReplyDeleteafter being vegetarian for over a decade, I decided to give veganism a go for a year. I've never felt better and have kept it up long past my planned stopping date!
ReplyDeleteI went vegan almost 4 years ago, right before Thanksgiving, and it was the easiest thing I ever did! I thought it was gonna be super tough, but I absolutely love it.
ReplyDeleteOOhhh, this is an AWESOME book! I got it out of the library and would love to have my own copy!
ReplyDeleteYet another fantastic giveaway! You are rockin' it out.
ReplyDeleteI went vegan 4 years ago. The hardest thing (still) is eating out because of the combo of vegan and food allergies.
I struggled and still sometimes struggle getting other people to understand the reasons why I am vegan and to respect that. I have heard great things about this book and would love to read it.
ReplyDeleteGoing out to eat is the biggest struggle, and at first it seems like all people talk to you about is what you eat.
ReplyDeleteI went vegan 3 years ago! I would love to take the vegan challenge though!
ReplyDeleteIt's been just over 3 years for me too, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this book for a friend of mine who loves trying new things (and whom I really want to save from "going paleo", which is something she seems to be toying with right now).
I just celebrated my one year anniversary earlier this month. I think the hardest thing honestly, was remembering to read the labels.
ReplyDeleteI'm just about to complete the first year of my masters in social work, which has been a MASSIVE challenge. Now i've only got one to go...still a challenge, but definitely achievable!
