When I received the book, I couldn't put it down. Within three hours, I was in the kitchen making the Beefy Cheesy Mac. This cookbook is seriously beautiful. The photography is lovely. Every recipe I have tried has been amazing.
Made and loved: Eggplant Parmigiana. There is Walnut-Sesame Parmesan inside, and their recipe for vegan mozzarella on top.
Made and loved: Ham-ish Saucisses. Unlike many seitan sausages, these are ready to eat right out of the oven. I can't stop thinking about these and I know they will be part of my regular repertoire. Here they are with baguette, pickle, and tarragon mustard.
Made and loved and you will have to imagine it: the Ultimate Patty Melt with Smoky Pub Cheese and Garlic Onion Mayo Sauce, and also the Beefy Cheesy Mac.
Made and didn't love: Nothing.
Want to make: Everything. As soon as my week stops running in front of me, I am making more. I think it'll be the Meatloaf and the Asparagus with Mushroom Sauce, but I have all of the ingredients for Twice-Baked Spaghetti and that recipe is dancing before my eyes.
Have I convinced you? How could I not have convinced you?
