Now to the very first of my entire month of vegan giveaways. (Yes, that is right, I will be having a food- or drink-related giveaway every single day this month, because vegan and vegan-friendly companies have been so very generous!) This really lovely giveaway is from Rishi Tea, multi-year award-winning manufacturers of my very favorite teas. Tangerine ginger is my preferred variety, but every single one I have tried has been excellent. Rishi would like to provide one of you with a selection of five loose leaf teas and this beautiful little teapot, The Tsuki.
To enter, please leave a comment below. Tell me about your favorite tea, your favorite teapot, or anything at all! This giveaway is open to US residents only, but lots of others this month will be open to everyone everywhere. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator and posted tomorrow below tomorrow's giveaway. If you win a larger giveaway on this blog at some point this month, please be kind and don't enter further giveaways--I'd love as many people to win something as possible!
I am so so excited to read new vegan blogs!! Yours is one and you will be going on my blog roll> :D
ReplyDeleteI love anything green and white tea especially when it comes tropical flavors. Thanks for the giveaway!
You are right, this doesn't need a recipe! It looks great!
ReplyDeletea giveaway every day? that is crazy!
ReplyDeletegood thing I found your blog last week... hehe
I love all kind of teas, green, black, chaï, white... I am a real tea freak. there is even a rule in the house made by my boyfriend that I can't buy a new teapot without trowing or giving one away because I own too much...
Being in Austria, I can't enter the giveaway, but I still want to say: Whoo, Vegan MoFo! I'm so stoked. Can't wait to see what everyone's come up with! :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tea is actually from Rishi too. I like their blueberry rooibos!
ReplyDeleteYour sandwich looks delicious.
I love fruit and herbal teas, anything from pear, plum, black currant, raspberry, lemon balm to orange spice. I prefer to drink my tea hot and I am not picky about tea brands.
ReplyDeleteWow those tomatoes do look perfect! I think my favorite tea is earl grey.
ReplyDeleteThat sandwich looks scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteI like all types of teas it usually just depends on my mood, but tea is especially wonderful during these fall/wintery months. I usually make my tea the lazy man's way and just heat water in the microwave and stick a tea bag in it. :P haha I'm sure I have a teapot somewhere in my house i'm just not sure where. Let's see if I could pick a favorite tea I'd have to say peppermint as of lately at least.
Thanks for having this giveaway. The peperocinis in your picture made my mouth water!!
ReplyDeleteContest entry- my favorite teapot is an antique that I got my aunt. It is Chinese and has grains of rice baked into the pottery. It is so beautiful when you add tea to the pot. I cherish this pot and have it on display in the kitchen for all to see! Tea is something special in my family. We love to gather around a cup of tea and chat. :-)
Happy MoFo!
Awesome you are doing all these giveaways!
ReplyDeleteI love Get a Grip tea by The Republic of Tea. I drink it every day!
That tea sounds gorgeous. I'm a plain old English tea drinker me with lots of milk. It's what gets me up in the mornings.
ReplyDelete(I know I'm not a US resident but if I'm chosen can I send it to an American buddy?)
Funny that you mention it-- Rishi's Dream tea was my very favorite. It gave me a better night's sleep and really wild dreams. I was so sad when they stopped making it.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm a big ginger tea drinker.
My favorite is fresh ginger tea but currently I'm all about the Yerba Mate. I'm looking forward to reading your blog more!
ReplyDeleteYou should put a warning that says do not read on an empty stomach, really, right at the top in big block letters..seriously how inconsiderate!
ReplyDeleteJust kidding, sort of.
Lovely blog,
your newest reader, Kelly
I'm commenting but not entering!
ReplyDeleteHappy VeganMoFo! I think it is fantastic that you're doing a month of giveaways! :D
Green tea, all the way! It definitely lifts my mood. :) Oh, and that little teapot is absolutely adorable.
ReplyDeleteI just jumped into Vegan MoFo with both feet. I'm not a Vegan, or even a dedicated Vegetarian (although I live with one) but I'm excited to learn and share with my blog readers, and I'm really looking forward to a month of great vegan cooking. (Who knows, the experience might even convert me.)
ReplyDeleteAs for tea, I love a mix of Teavana's White Ayurvedic Chai and Samurai Chai Mate. I brew it in a little teapot by my desk, and it makes the whole room smell wonderful.
I'm partial to genmaicha--green tea with toasted rice and popcorn.
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm new, found you via Vegan MoFo.
ReplyDeleteIt's still warm here so I'm drinking iced tea - a mix of decaf black & green moroccan mint.
I love Tippy South Cloud tea, so much that when I bought my first house, I named it Tippy South Cloud.
ReplyDeleteI tried blueberry tea for the first time at a new coffee shop in Georgia. I am a big fan of fruit flavored tea.
ReplyDeleteHooray for tea giveaways! Tea is the best! I go through tea phases a whole lot. Some months I drink Earl Grey every day, sometimes I like the fruity green teas. I am currently in a green tea with a squeeze lemon in it phase, but I think my John-Cusack-#1-top-tea is Jasmine Green tea with nothing else in it.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, your sandwich picture is such a happy memory of summer contemplated from the beginning of Oregon's "Monsoon Season".
ReplyDeleteTea...
Our favorite teapot is absolutely the Bodum tea press pot. We've got the one with the stainless steel basket inside and it is the best teapot I've ever used. I have others that are prettier, but the Bodum does the job best. It totally seals up the tea in the bottom of the canister and makes it very easy to halt the brewing. This also means you can nearly always get a second pot brewed from the same leaves.
For tea... I must say that Tao of Tea are our go to suppliers. Top faves: black tea w/lychee, genmaicha, English Breakfast, malty Assam, Darjeeling bergamot, and their jasmine pearls. In summer their Moroccan green tea with mint makes the best iced tea!
Oh man, I would love that teapot. I've never had a teapot! My favorite tea is this loose jasmine tea I found at an Asian grocery store. It's so good.
ReplyDeleteI have always been a big fan of floral and green teas. My favorite would have to be the Tazo Passion loose leaf teas. My favorite scent (lavender), with lemon grass and citrus peels all blend together so wonderfully!

Current tea groove is jumping monkey. Coconut, banana, bark, coffee, dark chocolate blend of black tea and spices. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteI've never been a tea drinker, but I'm starting to try different ones in order to find something I like!
ReplyDeleteGreen tea.. So good!
ReplyDeleteThanks, you guys, for posting, yay! I'm going to close this now as it's midnightish here.
